Suspect (aka Jason DeShazar) passed away on September 2nd, 2000. Suspect was not only part of MML, but was also an extremely close friend. Those who knew him would tell you that he was an extremely good person, and someone very easy to get along with. Suspect was born in Providence, RI on January 17th 1982. When he was young his mother meet a someone from Florida. They decide to get married and end up moving to Paris, France. For 15 years Suspect lives in France with his mother, father and two siblings, Thomas and Jessica (who were born in France). Eventually, Suspect's mother divorced the father and by obligation of law he had to move back to the USA leaving behind his family. So alone he and his mother moved back to the US. The two end up moving around a lot, so it was hard for Suspect to make friends, because he had to constantly switch schools. Eventually, Suspect decided it was just best to quit and give up on it. Around this time, he meet up with the MML Crew. We bonded with him and eventually became very good friends. Suspect decided at this point that it was best to express his pain in life through raps. So, he joined the crew and we started to record material. However, Suspect's mother decided it was time to move again. This time Suspect moved to Connecticut where he found a job a Foxwoods Casino. Convinced on the fact he wasn't going to go back to school, he figured he'd make the best out of his situation and work hard for what he needed in life. At this time, Suspect was no longer in MML (too far of a distance). He decided that he'd get his GED and eventually look into college in Orlando, Florida. Suspect was getting his life together finally. He was unable to take records of schooling over from France so it's not like he could show what things were like to people. It was hard for him to work his way up. He was paying for everything in his life. Eventually Suspect got a car and was finally able to come see MML again. MML and Suspect had one reunion before he passed on only a couple weeks later. His life was taking a turn for the better. It was all taken away when he got into a fatal car accident by a crazy driver. Life is fragile. Suspect will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all those who ever meet him. He was truly a great kid and from how things were looking, had a good future.Your memory will be in our hearts forever, Jason. We will miss you deeply. RIP... see you at the crossroads.
